Kim Kardashian may count Paris Hilton as one of her closest friends, but that doesn’t mean she wants to follow in her exact footsteps. The socialite and daughter of late O.J. Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian will be filing a lawsuit to try to stop the DVD release of a three-year-old sex tape featuring her and actor-rapper Ray J, whom she was dating at the time the video was made.

Vivid Entertainment shelled out $1 million to an undisclosed third party for the tape and is planning to add Kim Kardashian Superstar to the homemade adult entertainment canon in the near future, despite objections over the deal’s legality.
“We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video, despite what others may say,” Vivid cochairman Steven Hirsch said.
I guess what’s worse for Kardashian is that she never got paid for it!
They say best friends share many common interests, no wonder Kardashian and Hilton are such close pals! Paris Hilton isn’t over with the Parisexposed.com issue yet. The restraining order prohibiting the distribution of Paris Hilton’s lurid belongings — at least, many of them is only a temporary order, at least for now. Bardia Persa, the owner of Parisexposed.com has been ordered into court on February 16, to explain why the injunction should not be extended. I am sure it will be interesting since Persa apparently paid $10 million to purchase the stuff. (a storage bin full of Hilton’s stuff from a third party after the storage bill went unpaid and the storage company auctioned her belongings off for $2,775.)
