Just weeks after Daily Mail revealed that Kate Moss would be quietly dropped from Burberry’s latest campaign, the source is reporting that Moss’ £500,000-a-year contract with posh underwear firm Agent Provocateur is not being renewed.
Moss enjoyed a close friendship with the store’s owners, Vivienne Westwood’s son Joe Corre and his wife Serena Rees. But their relationship was compromised earlier this year when Serena ran off with Paul Simonon, former bassist of rock band The Clash – and the husband of one of Kate’s best friends. So is this the main reason for droping Moss?
Or perhaps they want to have a new face with a cleaner image?
