Penelope Cruz & model Helena Christensen have been spotted walking hand-in-hand with U2 frontman, Bono along a St. Tropez beach.

Cruz and Bono were also snapped leaving the exclusive VIP Room nightclub in the French Riviera.

Penelope is currently taking a break from work on the new Woody Allen film, currently shooting in Spain.

Penelope is known to be a big admirer of Bono and has spoken glowingly of him in the past. Back in September 2006 Cruz told OK Magazine: “I’m very interested in following up all the work Bono is doing. He’s so powerful and so human and seeing him investing all his time and effort is something to admire.”

As for Bono, 47 has been married to his teen sweetheart, Ali Hewson for 25 years, they have 4 kids together.

So are they just friends or something else is cooking? We’ll keep you posted! In any case, let’s hope Bono’s wife isn’t a jealous type.
