Wainwright says “I’m really sick of Beyonce. All of her songs are formulaic and produced in a way that’s utterly mesmerising in the basest way. “There’s no enlightenment. Like most mainstream pop these days, it’s more of a scientific experiment than an artistic experience. “I’m scared of what young people are being force-fed. I’m sick of trash culture.
Wainwright, for crying out loud.. Beyonce’s stuff sells! Meaning fans love her music.

I could not agree with him more. Not just with her but with the whole music scene these days. Especially black music.
Now they link everything under hip and all music is not hip hop. I think there is hip hop and then there is R&B. There is a difference.
You should not have Beyonce and Jill Scott nominated in the same category because they are not the same.
Thank you Mr. Wainright. Maybe if more artisist begin to speak out on this mess that is being mass produced, real music will come back in style.
Also, maybe if radio stations are independently owned again, we will get back to diversity being played on the radio.
I agree. I hate her so-called “music”. There’s no meaning to any of it; it’s too high-pitched & irritating; and it’s just an excuse for her wriggle around three-quarters naked.
