According to the latest Hollywood news, Zac Efron is now dating his Hairspray co-star Nikki Blonsky. As for Zac and Vanessa Hudgens, his High School Musical co-star, they have allegedly called it quits back in June.
Blonsky, who stands 4’10”, and her new guy have been inseparable these past few weeks. And if they aren’t spending quiet time together in New York or L.A. , they’re either talking on the phone or texting. “As crazy as it sounds, Zac is completely taken with Nikki,” says a source. “He said she’s someone special – someone unlike any other girl he’s ever dated. He goes on and on about how funny, smart, and pretty Nikki is.”
“Zac said they’ve made out,” says the source. “And that Nikki’s a great kisser. He also thinks she’s very sexy and admits he doesn’t even notice she’s carrying a few extra pounds. Zac and Vanessa used to argue a lot,” says the source. “They were jealous of each other. But Zac says Nikki is totally understanding and accepting of his popularity and isn’t threatened by it.”

I hope the story is true. From getting the part and being fabulous in the movie, it’s like a fairytale. Nikki deserves to get the guy. Just because she is not in the cookie cutter mold of what the media and hollywood think beauty should be, she is more beautiful that Britney and much more talented as well. For all the ney-sayers out there, didn’t you see the movie Hairspray. You all must be as shallow as “Amber”. Zac you are the lucky one and Go Nikki Go.

Just because Nikki isn’t the thinnest girl in the world doesn’t mean she’s not beautiful! I think she is very talented and a great person. Zac and Nikki definitely deserve each other. It’s like a fairytale, definitely a lot like Hairspray. Zac has said in an interview that he actually goes for girls like Tracy in real life, and Nikki is so much like Tracy! Most movie star-actor-singer guys would never dump someone like Vanessa for someone like Nikki, so I think it’s amazing that Zac had the courage to do that. I’m glad he looks at her as a person, not as a size, as a lot of people do! If people are saying bad things about her, you must all be really shallow.
