Amidst all the resentment that Oscar de la Hoya is getting from his cross-dressing photos, Oscar should be grateful to know that he’s got someone behind him. It’s PETA again – go figure..
OSCAR de la Hoya has at least one fan who loves his drag photos showing the boxer dolled up in fishnets as “Goldie.” It’s PETA! The People for the Ethical treatment of Animals v.p. Dan Mathews says he wants de la Hoya as one of the cross-dressing models in PETA’s “Fur Is a Drag” fashion show in December to be hosted by Lady Bunny, founder of the Wigstock festival.
”The controversy surrounding the cross-dressing photos of you could be turned around to do some good,” Mathews wrote in a letter to de la Hoya. “Might you consider walking the catwalk? You’d be a real knockout.”
