Carrie Underwood is a heck of an “Idol” winner! American Idol has produced some heavyweight celebrities: I can think of Jennifer Hudson, Sanjaya & of course Carrie Underwood. Underwood has gotten two nominations for the American Music Awards.

Carrie Underwood will perform on Good Morning America’s outdoor concert series in Times Square in New York City on Oct. 23, the same day she releases her new CD, Carnival Ride. The album features her current hit, “So Small.”
