Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ has landed the top spot in Maxim magazine’s end-of-year readers album poll. ‘Back to Black’, which emerged as Britain’s best-selling album of 2007 earlier this month, has topped the poll beating Radiohead’s ‘In Rainbows’ and Kanye West’s ‘Graduation.’
Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ was voted the ‘Best Single’ ahead of Winehouse’s ‘Rehab,’ while Radiohead defeated the ‘White Stripes’ to bag the ‘Best Band’ title, reports Contactmusic.
Led Zeppelin emerged as the ‘Favourite Geezers,’ while Britney Spears’ ‘Gimme More’ was named 2007′s ‘Lamest Song.’
Spears was also named ‘Craziest Motherf**ker,’ ahead of Winehouse.
Winehouse bagged second position in the ‘Breakthrough of The Year’ category, while ‘The Simpsons’ was voted the ‘Best Movie.’
Winehouse seems to flare well with Maxim readers not too lucky for our I’m so Lucky pop princess, Britney Spears. I can’t believe Britney won The Craziest Motherf**ker ahead of Winehouse. And her Gimme More was named 2007′s lamest song. I still think Winehouse is crazier despite what kind of things Spears’ been up to. Shooting up heroin is gotta be the craziest thing. Oh & I don’t think Gimme More is lame. It’s got the beat!
