Poor Miley Cyrus, I feel for her. The whole world has put the 15-year old under a microscope! That’s the trade-off for fame and stardom. It’s almost certain included with the package: famous = no privacy and criticism.

I tell you what I think, no, I don’t think the Vanity Fair photos were right for a 15-year old just because she’s a minor & it’s a publication. If she’s 18 then they are perfectly okay. Call me old-fashioned. The photos were rather provocative. On the other hand, her photos with the boyfriend and all that jazz.. that’s part of growing up!
Should Miley Cyrus, our Hannah Montana be held accountable for these photos. I say NO WAY! Her parents should though.. oops! It’s done, it’s done. It’s no big deal! She’s a normal 15-year old. No little kids are expecting nuns to be their role-models these days. I have a nine-year old I know.
Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz is speaking out about her controversial, semi-topless Miley Cyrus photos she shot for Vanity Fair. Click here to see Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photos
“I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted,” she said in a statement. “Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together, and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. “The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”
The 15-year-old issued a statement saying she was “embarrassed” over the photos and apologized to her fans. (The New York Post ran the photo under the headline Miley’s Shame.)
The Disney Channel claims the magazine “manipulated” her, but a Vanity Fair rep says, “Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley.”
Michele Combs, a spokesperson for the Christian Coalition of America, tells Us that Disney should reprimand the Hannah Montana singer for the photo.
Combs adds that Leibovitz has “a reputation for doing racy things … Miley should have thought this out before she agreed to go in front of Annie.”- US magazine
yada, yada, yada.. now Cyrus would have to listen to this broken record for a while! Just use ear plugs and forget about it for a while! Stand strong kid!

I think Miley looks devastatingly beautiful in this photo she should feel proud to have been shot by such a fantastic photographer which i have no doubt she does but is obviously under pressure to put them down. Everyone should get over this and see it for what it is; a beautiful photograph of an equally beautiful young woman.
miley is ‘ashamed’ for doing that photoshoot
but in my opinion, the photo is absolutely beautiful.
she should, however, be ashamed of the personal photos that surfaced on the internet.
i was never a fan of her show or music because she is not a great actress and her songs are just not my taste, but she is a gorgeous girl.
That photo is far from appropriate in my opinion. Miley may be a gorgeous girl, but that photo shows too much skin and she looks so pale! What makeup did they put on her? I don’t think the photographer should think that way about the photo. If Miley is ashamed of the photo, shouldn’t the photographer be ashamed too? This world’s way of thinking is so corrupt…
