The Sun is reporting that Cheryl is planning on going solo sometime in the near future and she plans on working with producer, T2.

A source said: “Cheryl and T2 have been in discussions about her solo material. He is the man of the moment, with a lot of pop acts clamouring for his expertise on collaborations. He told her she would have to hold on a bit longer because he had commitments with Alesha – which went down like a lead balloon. Cheryl is keen to get cracking on new material and didn’t want to play second fiddle to anyone else.”

So that’s all about ditching Girls Aloud not Ashley Cole but whether it’s for real or not. For now it’s only rumor!
