Heidi Montag said she’s voting for John McCain and McCain told Time.com’s Swampland that “I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started.” John McCain was teased by Joe Scarborough of the MSNBC’s Morning Joe show saying he lied about being a huge fan of Heidi Montag..

“We were extraordinarily impressed at your ability to look right into the camera and lie about the fact that you’re a huge fan of The Hills,” host Joe Scarborough said (at 48 seconds into the video) “Heidi Montag on your side – you got that going for you.”

“That was pretty good wasn’t it?” McCain replied. “Well, she’s a very talented actress.”

“He did it again!” Scarborough remarked.

The presumptive Republican nominee for president then noted his other celebrity supporters: Sylvester Stallone, Clint Eastwood and Jon Voight (not to mention Angie Harmon). US magazine
