Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have signed a three-year lease for a 880-acre chateau valued at $70 million on the French Riviera. Lease, you heard? They are just renting.. wow..  Brad & Jolie won’t be too lonely, they will be living near homes owned by Johnny Depp & The Beckhams. Then again 880 acres? Don’t you have to fly to get out. I don’t know!

 ”We are certainly thinking of France,” she [Jolie] said at the Cannes Film Festival last week. The property, called Chateau Miraval – which is near homes owned by Johnny Depp and the Beckhams – includes a vineyard, lake, moat, forest and 20 fountains, the paper reports. more photos after the jump…

Jolie, 32, and Pitt, 44 are raising their four children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 – with French roots.

“[French is] a second language in the house, although I’m still learning and am not going to attempt any of it here today,” Jolie said at Cannes. “My children are starting to speak French, so being here is very good for them and their language.”
