Friends of the actress think Anne Hathaway may be behind the arrest and downfall of her boyfriend.  And when you think about it, the timing is a little…fishy.

I’m Not Obsessed reports Anne’s boyfriend’s troubles began…again…and then there was a quick breakup.  As soon as she dumped him, she flew overseas.  Was it to get away from the press or was it because she didn’t want to be around and have him find out she tipped him off?  because whoever turned him in, did it good.  He could face life in prison for his numerous offenses now.

Do you think the criticism she is under is justified?  Would you turn in your fiance’ if you knew he was doing illegal activity which could possibly land your butt in jail…for a long time?  No way here…
