Christina Aguilera has some biting words for the press’ comments about her life: I can go out if I want to! The new mom has been spotted out at several night clubs recently, making people question her mothering ways.

Christina’s son Max was born in January. During the last month or so, she has been spotted out at night with her husband partying it up, which has earned her a bunch of criticism. How can she be a good mom who likes to hit the clubs at night? This is what Christina said to Access Hollywood in response:
“I spend all day with my son and once in a while if I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that,” she said.
How does one define once in a while though?
