Cyndi Lauper is too big for her britches. After winning much acclaim as being a gay rights’ activist, she must have let her ego grow a little too much and thought she was super important or something.

Lauper was set to perform during a live broadcast of the CBS Early Show. She was doing sound checks when some technical problems arose. And what does everyone do during sound checks – right…fix the problems. Instead of waiting for the problems to get fixed, she stormed off the set. She was said to be yelling and screaming at those in her group and the technical group from CBS. Needless to say, she left and didn’t finish. Maybe she did show her true colors!! True professional at her best.

Ugh, well. Could you imagine, leaving because she had to be somewhere else to perform?! She like, totally should’ve blown Good Morning America off! Nice try. She waited as long as she could, but she had to be at GMA right after, then to Atlantic City to rehearse for a show later that night. Who’s got time to diddle?
CBS asked her to record something to air later but their soundboard was not working so they had to reschedule it for July. She had to go pick up her son and get ready for her show in Atlantic City. That’s all that happened. She did not refuse to perform or anything else like a certain blogger wants everyone to think.
