Katherine Heigl has removed her own name off the Emmy Awards ballot this year.  It’s not the first time an actor has made such a move.  But why did Katherine do it?

 More pictures after the jump…

Katherine removed her name because she believed her role this year didn’t have good enough lines and a story to be worthy of an Emmy.  She also went on to say the writing this year on Grey’s Anatomy “sucked.”  Well, that’s not going to help matters any.  You know the writers will give her crappy lines now.  But maybe that was her intention.  She did mention she wanted out of her contract to pursue movies.  Maybe she is provoking the split?

One Response to “No Emmy For Katherine Heigl”

The drivel they call writing on Grey’s Anatomy has always sucked. Never understood how the show ever became popular. I have tried to watch it several times, only to change the channel after just a few minutes. So contrived and nauseating. Yecch.
