Alanis Morissette has been quietly performing recently.  She isn’t the loud, angry woman who took the stage a few years ago….except for one little incident.

Alanis had met the Pope and was on a stage a while back.  She needed to exit after, but didn’t know exactly how to do it, since the Pope’s entourage - OK, they were Cardinals - were sitting in a cluster on stage too.  Alanis opted to go in front of them to exit the stage faster, when they all started whispering in French.  They said it was rude and made a bunch of other comments about her in French. 

Except she knows French.  She knew what they were saying!  So when it was over, INO says she replied back to them - IN FRENCH - ‘Thank you for your kindness.’

Ooops!  The Cardinals looked shocked.  Those French Cardinals should feel like crap!
