In a surprising move, Britney Spears has signed over legal and physical custody of her two boys to Kevin Federline. The move happened this week and was settled before a Friday hearing.

Even though Britney has been doing very well since her father stepped in and took over as conservator, this is the agreed all parties agreed to. Why? Who really knows. Maybe Britney still needs recovery time and the orders can be changed later? Mark Vincent Kaplan, KFed’s attorney says via the Associated Press, it wasn’t quite what he wanted. But it’s what he got and Britney maintains visitation rights.
It’s a sad deal for the kids, even though they do see their mom. And thank goodness Jamie Spears stepped in and pushed Adnan and Sam Lufti – where did he go anyway? – out of the picture.
