Biography: Carmen Electra: birth name: Tara Leigh Patrick; born on April 20,1972 in St Johns, Canada; height: 5 feet 3 (160 cm); Zodiac Sign: Taurus. Carmen first gained fame posing for Playboy magazine and starring on the TV hit series Baywatch.
Carmen moved to California in 1994 where she met Prince while auditioning for an all-girl rap group. Prince convinced her to change her name to Carmen Electra. Soon after, she signed a recording contract with Prince’s company marking the start of her short-lived singing career.
Carmen’s big break came in May 1996 when she posed nude for Playboy magazine, that marked her first of several more to come. This exposure led to higher profile television appearances, including Baywatch and MTV’s Singled Out.
