Christian Bale may be letting his movie roles go to his head!  The star is currently cooling his heels in a London jail while police figure out a ’situation’.

Christian’s mom and sister filed an assault charge yesterday evening according to Yahoo! News.  They claim they were assaulted in a hotel room before the London premier of Dark Knight.  Police didn’t take Bale in since they didn’t want to interrupt with the movie proceedings.  This morning in London he voluntarily showed up in the station to resolve the case and was arrested.  He is still being held and his family and the police aren’t answering questions yet.  Stay tuned for updates…
