Jessica opened for mega country star Sara Evans in a Wisconsin show. Wisconsin = Green Bay Packers fans. Who is Jessica dating? Tony Romo - a Dallas Cowboys star. So, Jessica got to a song and dedicated it to him, and she got booed. Her singing didn’t get booed…just her references to one of their favorite team’s opponents!
Some stories are printing that she got booed for singing, but that isn’t the case. She had a warm welcome, despite dating the Cowboy quarterback, from Packer land. Country fans are too polite to boo anyone without just cause. The Dixie Chicks got what they deserved a few years ago…but no one else has been treated badly since, Jess included.
