Lauren Conrad showed up to a Humane Society fundraiser and displayed her true colors.  She stormed off, kept the money and didn’t fulfill her obligations….nice.

Lauren appeared on the red carpet for the event, Paws for Style, and was supposed to appear in the fashion show for the finale.  She was PAID to be in the fashion show, a rumored $20K, which would include her walking down the runway with a pooch.  Apparently when Lauren found out, she got mad and stormed off.  Completely left the humane society event.  According to Bitten and Bound:

“The MC, obviously nonplussed, said to the entire audience, “Those reality stars can be such temperamental bitches.”

Ouch.  Wendy Diamond who is editor of Animal Flair added this comment:

“100 percent of the proceeds from Paws For Style go to the Humane Society of New York, we do not take a penny,” Diamond tells us. “If anyone would like to help make up for this costly mishap, please call the Humane Society of New York at (212) 752-4842 or visit their website: http://www.humanesocietyny.org/.”

This little stint is going to hurt her reputation…right?
