Lindsay Lohan got a really nice birthday present from her pal Samantha Ronson. A gift so nice, that it is hard to imagine they aren’t a couple, lesbian or not.

Lindsay got a ring from Samantha says Celebitchy.  And not just any old, run of the mill jewelry.  This was a $22,000 diamond Cartier ring.  Nothing says BFF like that, huh!  Sources close to the pair spill it isn’t an engagement ring, but a promise ring of sorts.  Hmmmmm….what do you think?  They were pictured ring shopping on her birthday.  Does it really matter if they are lesbians as long as they are happy?

Lindsay hasn’t been seen wearing the ring since she is on set filming.  Her bday gift isn’t part of the props, either!
