This hot little tidbit about Madonna came out of nowhere.  Alex Rodriguez (A Rod) – one of the super athletes for the New York Yankees in case you didn’t know – has been spotted solo at Madonna’s NY apartment recently.

US Weekly reports that the comings and goings happen as late as midnight!  Wow!  Does Madonna have an athlete on the sly?  A Rod is married and recently had another daughter with his beautiful wife.  What’s up with that?  Are superstars (Madonna, Marilyn Monroe) just attracted to men in pinstripe uniforms (Joe DiMaggio, A Rod)?  Is infidelity a disease for superstars?  Not to mention, she is 49 and he is only 32. 

No doubt their reps will spin this as lies or that they are just pals.  What do you buy?  Friends from way across the spectrum?  Secret lovers now outed?
