Mariah Carey has a great reason for her quickie wedding to Nick Cannon this spring.  And in typical diva fashion, it sounds just like what Mariah would do!

Mariah said she hurried in to marriage because all of her friends would have questioned her about the deal.  They would have told her to slow down or wait and she didn’t want to hear it!  Friends only tell you that because they are concerned you’re are doing something wrong.  Her diva ego is so in the way she doesnt even realize when her ‘people’ are concerned and want to help.  So she hurried up and eloped so they couldn’t talk her - or most likely him - out of it.
