Mindy McCready had a slew of #1 hits back in the late 90s and early 00s.  She was also engaged to Dean Cain – Superman – and had a great life going.  She partied to celebrate her life.  And partied.  And partied until Dean left her.  She then got in to drugs, trouble, and a jail stint.  Oh, and don’t forget the Roger Clemens affair when she was 15. 

Anyway, over the weekend she was feeling depressed again and mixed a bottle of vodka with some pills.  Not a good idea.  Dr. Phil was somehow alerted and took her under his wing.  She is off to Arizona in a treatment facility to kick her habits. 

Will Dr. Phil try and use her as a guinea pig since the Britney Spears attempt didn’t work?
