The Dark Knight Premier

The Dark Knight - the latest in the Batman series - debuted last night to a world premier.  The only thing missing was one of its stars, Heath Ledger.

Christian Bale plays Batman, but Heath Ledger had his last starring role playing the Joker.  Heath’s father and sister arrived in New York for the premier, but Michelle Williams - the mother of his child - was not planning to attend.  Too hard to watch the last role of your loved one, which is said to be an Oscar worthy performance?

Probably.  How tragic that he died and won’t see how good the reviews are for his last role, which is said to have driven him to the brink of insanity.  Sad.  Will you be seeing the movie this weekend?
