Avril’s tour was supposed to swing by Asia and have a stop in Malaysia. DListed says the government authorities took one look at her and said no way! She has to change her show so it is not sexy or else the August 29 performance will be cancelled.
Avril’s tour isn’t doing so hot elsewhere. Ticket sales have been lackluster at best, with her cancelling several shows claiming illness, when really low sales was the cause. Reviewers have even raised her in the press, saying it just plain out stinks! Maybe the Malaysians are on to something…they are just trying to save their folks a bit of money!
