Jermaine Dupri – who happens to be a music industry pro as well as Janet Jackson’s main squeeze – had a little party in Atlanta over the weekend. And it was a bang!

Dupri’s party guests included P Diddy, Usher, Gabrielle Union and Larenz Tate.  And they all ran for cover and left the party when shots rang out in the night.  None of the stars were injured. 

It seems that a fight broke out in the VIP area because security was double charging guests.  They needed a little bit of pocket money!  The security started pushing and shoving and then shots were fired.  A security guard was shot, treated and released.  The incident is still being investigated, but no charges have been filed yet. 

Dupri needs to have a metal detector at his events as this isn’t the first time guns have been involved near him.  Guns are bad, dude!
