John Mayer is one of only a few celebrities to actually show up and present a case in favor of distance limits between stars and photographers.  Other stars may be in favor of it, but they must have a little more common sense.  What cops are going to enforce a distance law, when they have many other pressing needs in the city of LA?

The proposal limits how close photographers can get to stars when they are out on popular streets, such as Robertson Blvd.  They won’t be allowed to mash their cameras in the faces of celebrities as they emerge from hot spots if passed. 

Do you think it’s a fair law?  After all, it seems like the stars like being photographed because it keeps them current.
