Morgan Freeman – one of the stars in the summer blockbuster The Dark Knight – was in a car accident over the weekend.  He will be in surgery today to repair some injuries…

Morgan was driving his wife’s friend’s 1997 Nissan and went off the road around midnight on Saturday.  Some witnesses tell the local paper, the Memphis Commercial Appeal that the car flipped several times before landing in a ditch.  The accident might be from slippery roads or from Morgan falling asleep.

He has a broken arm and shoulder.  The arm/elbow injury will be under the knife today to repair. 

If I were the other Dark Knight co-stars, I’d head for a bubble.  First Heath Ledger, then Christian Bale, now this?  Bad juju from that movie…
