The fashion world’s been wetting itself over British catwalker Agyness Deyn for sometime now. For me, the jury’s still out on whether or not she’s worth all the ink. She often looks rather ridiculous, and everytime I read an editorial about how she’s got great “fashion instinct” or the most “unusual” whatever, a little part of me wants to retreat into my apartment, draw the shades, and cancel all my magazine subscriptions.

I mean, on the one hand, I get it. She isn’t traditionally beautiful, and she’s got the whole punky Londoner thing going on (Gisele Bündchen would rather double date with Leo and Bar than be caught dead in the things Agyness calls “clothes”).
So I can see how she’s an ugly-beautiful breath of fresh air. One can only gaze at these genetic Brazilian anomalies for so long.
But on the other hand, that’s all it takes? A mismatched wardrobe, short, spiky haircut, and plenty of eyeliner? That’s it? Hell, by those standards I was an international sensation in high school!
