Lynne Spears revealed on Wednesday’s Today Show that Jaime Lynne told her via hand-written note that she was knocked up. Damn! Well, I guess it’s better than a text message.

“It said she was pregnant and everything was going to be OK. She and Casey were going to raise it…I thought it was a joke I was waiting for the punch line…I was in shock. I think I was just truly in shock, and then I started to cry. And she started consoling me at that point.”

Lynne also added that Baby Daddy Casey Aldridge avoided eye contact and had his feet on the coffee table. Something, she said, “he would never do!” Sassy pants! He felt above the “guest” rules now that he’d planted his seed in Jaime Lynne.

On the show to promote her book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, Lynne also talks about the Brit. It’s a generic blah blah about her start has a happy little country bumpkin who just wants to sing and dance but instead descends into a “whirlwind”

of a head-shaving, drug induced mania.

She says the mix of celebrity, heart-ache, and paparazzi wasn’t “healthy.” You think?

Snore. All this gobbledybook makes me sleepy. The world has had it’s fill of the Spears family. What’s Lynne going to say that we haven’t already read, seen, heard, ingested, and vomited out again on an almost daily basis for the past 10 years. I know more about Brit Brit and Jaime Lynne than do I about my own life. We need a break from this good, ol’ family. Amen.
