Jude Law has been in Afghanistan, promoting peace.  He with other movie types, are pushing for both sides to stop the madness and observe World Peace Day.  World Peace Day is September 21st.

Jude and Jeremy Gilley, a producer, created a documentary called ‘The Day After Peace’ which has been the motivation going back to Afghanistan.  Jude was in Kabul last year doing research for the film, and tells the Associated Press he was incredibly moved by the people and their hope.

Law says this documentary is one of the most important things he has done with his career.  He has become active working with the UN in Peace projects ever since.
