The evening started out nicely with the pair reading scripts and announcing awards/introducing stars. Then it went downhill, faster than Lily was drinking champagne. Yeah, she filled her glass in the middle of the show and continued to drink, getting more tipsy each segment.
Once she began slurring her words, Elton called her on it. He even suggested she was a drunk, to which she replied, F*(& Off, Elton.” He smirked at her and then said he could snort her under the table. That referred to her suspected coke habit. Ouch. Not a nice exchange and the audience sat in stunned silence, taking it all in. Did Lily just kill her career or what? No response, but she may be headed off to rehab…
