Lindsay Lohan skipped out on her grandfather’s funeral over the weekend. Instead, she hit the shopping strip with a friend. Samantha Ronson made the trek to NY with Lindsay, but was not on this shopping trip.

Lindsay’s dad Michael has not come out with a statement. Yet. but he will probably do so with the media outlets and not personally when he does. Since Lindsay is in NY, it appears she has at least seen some of the family or made arrangements to see her family. Maybe the time of the funeral was wrong?
There has been no comment from any camp on Lindsay’s whereabouts, making it seem…weird. Maybe since it was a holiday weekend, all of the PR people are gone!
