Oprah Winfrey has picked her candidate and she’s sticking to it.  The Queen of TV has publicly declared she will not interview Sarah Palin – the first Republican VP nominee ever – until after the election.  Oprah says she isn’t using her show as a platform for politics this time.

Except she’s had Barack Obama on her show twice in the last two years.  Biased?  Completely.  Would she have had any other democratic nominee on her show twice if they weren’t black?  Hard to say, but probably not, sad to say.

Maybe another famous celebrity will pick up Sarah Palin and promote her, like what Oprah has done for Obama.  Then we can have a showdown of stars too…that would make for a real election face off!  Young people might get interested in politics for a change.  People might vote in record numbers…actually, I think they probably will.  Either the first woman Vice President or the first black president will take office in January of this year.  Who will it be?
