David Duchovny out of sex rehab!

David Duchovny’s been a good boy. His reward? A release from sex rehab! His lawyer says he’ll be starting a movie soon and has, as of late, kept his private parts private. No, he didn’t say that last part, but I’d guess if he’s getting released he didn’t proposition anyone while locked up. Good job, David! I’d imagine it was difficult. But unlike an addiction to a substance—where you can stay away from bars, cigarettes, and drug dens—a sex addict is addicted to, well, people. Imagine all the temptation in a rehab with dozens of others just like you?

He’s said some questionable things in the past regarding his appetite for the sexy times. In a Playgirl interview in 1997:

I am not a sex addict…there was another story claiming I was a neat freak. If I had to choose one of the two, I think I’d rather be a sex addict. It’s not funny and I’ll be glad when it goes away.”

I’d probably rather be a sex addict too. Neat freaks must deep clean, organize and dust for hours on end daily. A sex addict just needs a little something-something on the down low for a few minutes. I don’t have time to be a neat freak.
