Jessica Alba’s new voting ad - featuring Alba wearing a Hannibal Lecter-type mask called “The Muzzler” in tears. Her new voting ad is aimed at getting young people to vote. What do you think? A bit too dramatic?
“Only you can silence yourself,” the ad says. “Make them hear you. Register to vote now.”
“I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically,” Alba said about the ads, according to People magazine. “People respond to things that are shocking.”
Well, for those who have not seen Hannibal, it is quite dramatic. Anthony Hopkins who plays the role of Lecker in Hannibal. Lecker is a schizophrenic and creepy character.
