Lauren Conrad, aside from Whitney Port, always comes across as the brightest and most genuine of the whole Hills crew. Granted, that isn’t saying boatloads. Speidi, Brody, Audrina and Lo are hardly a Mensa-worthy, heart of gold bunch. Regardless, Lauren has always seemed kind of, well, normal, I guess. Which is why the rumors that she banged Audrina’s precious Justin Bobby were almost unbelievable. Almost.

Audrina’s response on her blog was this:
I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin. I’m not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful. I can’t comment on whether they are true or false.”
Not to be written off as a two-timing Justin Bobby hussy, LC had a speedy response to the ever trustworthy (heh) In Touch Weekly saying:
These accusations are so crazy it’s difficult for me to take them seriously. While my usual taste in guys isn’t always perfect, I do prefer they shower regularly.”
Oh, SNAP! Stay tuned for the follow-up. I’m sure Justin Bobby is sitting back, grinning from ear to ear.
