Lauren Conrad told Extra that she likes doing The Hills but is ready to call it quits after being a T.V. star for five years. I wonder if this has something to do with her recent Justin Bobby whoring? Anyway, she told a reporter this:

“It’s coming to a point where I love this show so much, but I’m ready to kind of walk away…I’ve been doing it for five years now. Five years on TV is a really, really long time.”

Well, a really, really long time for someone who never intended to actually have a steady job in show business. Unlike the legions of unemployed actors who would trade in their most recent titty jobs to play dumb, spoiled 22-year old Malibu brats living in mansions and cavorting with beautiful men they’d never have a chance with in real life, all day long. She was also was a bit sour grapes about Whitney Port’s newest gig The City. She isn’t convinced Ms. Port won’t fall victim to alleged sluttery now that she’s the star.

 

It’s hard to have an actual friendship be torn apart in the media…I’m so proud of her for this next show…I think inThe Hills she never really let them film her personal life. She hasn’t really experienced the whole ‘put your personal life on TV thing.’”

Don’t worry, LC. I’m sure Whitney’s lady parts will accidently fall on one of her best friend’s exes once the tapes start rolling full time. It’s bound to happen.
