Madonna and Guy Ritchie are officially over. After 7 and half years, and months and months of speculation (I guess those A-Rod rumors were probably true) Madonna’s rep released a statement to the AP saying the two plan to divorce. Wow. And then we came to an end.

Honestly, the most surprising thing about all of this? Britian’s tabloid publication The Sun broke the news! The Sun! That rag will always have a special place in my heart because it allows me to report on audacious Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty madness that I just assumed was news-y fiction. Not so! The Sun has it’s nose to the ground, and I will now take everything they say as gospel. You should too.
In related news—I wonder who Madonna will rebound with? Oh, please oh please make it be someone from Gossip Girl! Or Zac Efron! If Madonna started shacking up with Zac Efron that would be my cue to exit from this world. They’re be nothing left to live for.
