Meet Diane Kruger, birth name: Diane Heidkrüger, born on July 15, 1976 in Algermissen, Germany, near Hildesheim; height: 5 feet 7 (170 cm); Zodiac Sign: Cancer. Kruger was raised in Germany as a child. Her ambition to become a ballerina had her parents send her to London to study with the Royal Ballet before an injury ended the ambition. Kruger became a top model instead.
Kruger became interested in acting and made her onscreen debut in 2002 opposite Dennis Hopper and Christopher Lambert in The Piano Player. Since then she has starred in numerous movies including her portrayal of Helen in Wolfgang Petersen’s epic Troy.
