Diane was raised in Germany as a child. Her ambition to become a ballerina had her parents send her to London to study with the Royal Ballet before an injury ended the ambition. Kruger became interested in acting and made her onscreen debut in 2002 opposite Dennis Hopper and Christopher Lambert in The Piano Player. Since then she has starred in numerous movies including her portrayal of Helen in Wolfgang Petersen’s epic Troy.

Diane was married once to French actor and director Guillaume Canet on September 1, 2001. They divorced in 2006. Diane has been dating Joshua Jackson. A Canadian-American actor originally from Vancouver, Canada. He plays Pacey Witter in the TV series Dawson’s Creek.

As of now, Kruger is in the process of making her upcoming movie with Brad Pitt – Inglourious Basterds, a Quentin Tarantino baby. As we reported yesterday that Angelina Jolie’s other half, Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger have gotten a little too cozy while on the set.

Don’t be too paranoid.. Oh then again, isn’t that how Brad and Angelina fell in love – when she was on the set filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith? Brad was still married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston then.
