Misty May-Treanor officially confirmed her departure from the show Dancing With the Stars last night. During Friday’s practice, she ruptured an already injured Achilles tendon. Ouch!

Misty needs to have surgery this week. And after that, she has a NINE MONTH rehabilitation ahead of her. It was that serious of an injury. Is she upset?
A little. But she and US Olympic Gold Medalist Volleyball partner Kerry Walsh had already planned some time off this year. They can’t keep winning everything…so they are taking a break and probably going to get pregnant. Pregnant? They’re both married and have put off families until after the Olympics. So, put two and two together…
