Legions of Paris haters may be getting their wish—Paris Hilton wants to go to space! According to the website ParisHiltonzone.com she paid $195,000 for a spot on Richard Branson’s Virgin Enterprise Rocket and (OF COURSE!) would love for her best friends, aka the camera crew, to follow her around during the experience.

The ever practical heiress worries this exhibition may be too dangerous, however. Clearly a fan of science fiction she was quoted as saying:

“I’m very scared to do it. What if I don’t come back? With the whole light-years thing, what if I come back 10,000 years later, and everyone I know is dead? I’ll be like, ‘Great. Now I have to start all over.’”

That would be a bummer. She’d have to figure out brand new ways to worm herself into the spotlight when all modern forms of media become obsolete. God, what would she do? Well, you know, whoring never goes out of style. It’s the world’s oldest profession for a reason, and methinks P. Hilt would make a slammin’ futurastic hooker. Off to the shuttle, P. Hilt!
