Angelina Jolie recently told Britian’s Sunday Times that she plans to phase herself out of Hollywood in the next few years. She’d like to do a few more movies and then devote more time to her family. Thank God! She runs those kids ragged, hopping on jets, buying homes, selling homes, dragging them from continent to continent. She’s filming this February and then after that plans to slow her roll.

Yes, please! Music to my ears. While I respect Angelina as an actress, I’m sick and tired of seeing her trout lips and veiny arms on the cover of InTouch Weekly, breastfeeding on W, anorexic and drug addicted on Star. Enough!

I think the withdrawel of Angelina Jolie and clan from our every breath and step follows closely behind Obama’s withdrawel plan in Iraq. Let’s hope both keep their word.
