It does damage things. I'm sure he could not workout during this time-he was also probably on a special diet too-not the low fat bodybuilding type. Also stopping steroid use will result in muscle shrinkage and lost tone and also an increase in fat, much more than the gradual decline from aging. That is, fat cells will enlarge rapidly. Thus the before and after differences. Stallone is taking hormones again, and looks very fit-but there are questions as to the safety, not to mention legal troubles.
