John Mayer rang in at number 11 for being a “press whore” on the annual Top 40 Powerful Men list recently unveiled by Details magazine. The genius analysis claims Johnny boy masquerades as a tortured artistic soul in need for some privacy, but insists on only dating other fame whores (Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston—I mean, c’mon).

As they, very accurately, point out, John Mayer will one day lobby for anti-paparazzi laws and then the next kiss and tell about his dalliances and parade around town with Jennifer Aniston, winking at the camera and joking around with the photographers. Uh huh.
We aren’t complaining. You make our lives very, very easy John. Keep up the good work. You too Angelina Jolie. You two should meet up and swap media whoring notes.
