Gene Simmons, everyone and my favorite rocker’s take on the Presidential election and who he’s voting for. Simmons says he’d rather vote for himself as he thinks he has as much qualification as some of the candidates. That’s so Simmons if you watch his reality TV show, Gene Simmons and the Family Jewels you would know.

“I would rather vote for me. I have as much qualification as some of the candidates,” Gene told Hollyscoop exclusively. “Actually there are people who are out voting for me but the job doesn’t pay enough. We are going to be voting and I don’t think, by the way, celebrities should open their traps about anything except promoting their new stuff.
“Just because you’re in front of people doesn’t mean you’re qualified to do crap. I don’t want my foreign policy to be decided in Malibu…by Sean Penn for f#%ks sake…I mean that in a good way.”
Wouldn’t be so bad if it’s Sean Penn calling the shots, could be worse if it’s Madonna, she’d probably make going to the gym mandatory for all citizens between the age of 3 to 93! Just kidding – you know that right?

Seriously is anyone going to vote for a candidate just because Britney Spears, Tom Cruise or Oprah Winfrey like him? I think YES, there are sooo many shallow-minded people out there. Heck, at this point I can’t wait till the election is over. Not too long now!
The woman with Gene is Shannon Tweed, she’s been living with The Kiss rocker since 1985 and they have 2 kids together!
