Britian’s Mirror is claiming Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are going to get engaged in Paris this weekend. Snore. Haven’t we heard enough of this bull-hooey by now? I’d love SamRo and LiLo to be the hipster version of Ellen and Portia, but c’mon, Lindsay’s not even copping to be a full-time carpet licker.

Anyway, this is what some British spy had to babble:

Sam and Lindsay are in London first to help Sam raise her profile on this side of the pond..She’s got sets booked but Lindsay’s agreed to support her if it means she gets the photo ops needed (ed. note: this sounds alarmingly like Lindsay, maybe this source is actually accurate). In the meantime, they’ve been planning a romantic getaway to Paris, flying out by private jet. After spending weeks discussing rings, they want to visit two leading jewellers there with their finalised design. It’s something they’ve been working on and naturally they’re really excited.” Apparently, they’ve plumped for “hip and edgy” rather than “flash and expensive.”

This would be the shortest marriage in the entire history of man. I give it early 2009 before Lindsay is back on men.
